Sunrise96.1fm's debate gets misunderstood as the presenters muddle 'hard work' and 'hardworking' up...LOL... find out the difference
These guys are hardworking at the hard work they do
I just listened to a very interesting program on Sunrise 96.1Fm Enugu. Now I cannot help but be so happy about how different they have chosen to sound after the death of their archaic system of presenting, which did not give room to flexibility and calculated spontaneity.... I hope you know what I mean..LOL.
All thanks to Jika Attoh. He has been really wonderful at creating impressions that are second to none in the broadcasting sector.
This brings me back to my point. I listened to a show called Rave961 anchored by Chi-Oma, the lady with the unforgettable alto voice, and they deliberated on whether talent or 'hardwork' was more important.
So, I was a bit confused because I was not sure what they were emphasizing on. In fact, the two entities seem to be farther apart, coupled with the fact that 'hardwork' is erroneously thought to be a noun. There is no word such as 'hardwork'. It is either one says somebody works hard or the person is hardworking, but to say 'hardwork' pays... it is not correct, unless you really mean a strenuous activity or job.
LOL.. hard work undiluted
One of the presenters, Warri boy, who they laughed at for not really following up the conversation was actually the person who got it correct. According to what they put out, it is glaringly clear that talent is a lot better than 'hard work', but you cannot succeed using your talent unless you are hardworking...LOL
These ones are really doing the hard work.. aren't they?
Are you still confused? Well you should not be. Take note of this. People who do hard work are barrow pushers, farmers, mason men and many others... They do hard work, but then for them to be successful, they need to be hardworking at their respective hard works. We all need to be hardworking in what ever we do; whether it is using talents we leverage on, white collar jobs we just do or hard works that give us muscular structures beyond our imaginations..LOL.
My point is, no one...absolutely no one(including me) knows it all. Anyway, you can prove me wrong if you think otherwise.
Shout out to all the SunriseFm presenters, You guys are blazing the eastern trail better than any radio station.
