Today's class will be really simple. It is just Saturday and you need your rest, right?

Join the class with King Ifey, it has just #begun!

Lets get down to brass tacks .

So, 'Sung',' begun', 'run' are hugely problematic for most Nigerians.

You hear statements like.
1. Your problem has just began
2. He has ran away
3.he has sang  that song
4. He has out-sang everyone already.
5. He has drank the wine

They sound correct to most Nigerians.  Even some people can accept the past participles of others I mentioned but  that 'sing', hell No. It sounds absurd to many....LOL.

'He has sung the song' sounds so stupid.

'The class has begun' sounds...well you know...still stupid.

'He has run away' ....sounds crazy too.

'He has drunk the wine'  sounds stupid too

These ones that sound stupid are very correct. The ones that sounds lovely to you are dead wrong.

Oya...say 'she has sung the song'
Ahaaa! There! You got it!

Ngwa take corrections now...

Bell rings.....

Time for break.

Good morning KIB students. Thank you for showing immense love to your teacher. Many of you understand how draining it could be for someone to consistently post here on Facebook. I appreciate those who ensure that my bank account doesn't  get flooded with cockroaches😃. Anyway, let's get down to brass tacks. There is an air waybill, sea waybill etc. Waybill cannot be verbalised. I want to waybill some goods to you❌ If you are looking for a verb to replace  the erroneous 'waybill', here are two genuinely accepted words to use. 1. Freight (verb) transport (goods) in bulk by truck, train, ship, or aircraft. "the metals had been freighted from the city". We freighted the cargo down to Port Harcourt. freight is used when  goods are quite bulky. When good...
