KATY PERRY BATTLING NUNS IN BID TO BUY FORMER CONVENT IN LOS FELIZ

'It is an abominable act,' the sisters would say,' no way are you going to give out our sacred antique building that transcends history to a lady completely soaked in the world like a pig soiled in the mud. she would  utterly desecrate the immaculate heart of Mary'.
I am thinking that that is exactly what the nuns of the immaculate heart of Mary have in mind now  that they are not ready to agree to the proposal made by the arch bishop of Los Angeles to sell the convent. They engage in legal battled fighting for the ownership of the Gothic and impressive building  which is worth over $15.5 million

Sister Catherine Rose, left, and Sister Rita Callanan at the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary convent in Los Feliz, California.

The nuns entered a formal agreement on May 20 to sell the convent to restaurateur Dana Hollister  for $15.5 million. Hollister plans to turn the property into a hotel, restaurant and bar.
But the diocese did not approve of the sale and appears interested in selling the property to Perry for a reported $14.5 million.

Hmm. So, that is what is causing the raucous in the Los Angeles diocese? it  was reported that Ms. Hollister had already moved in based on the bargain made with the nuns, but was later evicted by the diocese.
When the sisters knew who the second party the diocese had in mind that they were willing to lop off a million dollar for, they swiftly had her googled and oh my! they said they were utterly dismayed by what they saw of Katy Perry. Well, she is indeed soaked in the mundanities . LOL.
Here is a tip of the iceberg and a less  sexually explicit  picture of her that  I can condone of my blog.
Just go type Katy Perry and sexuality explicit... you would scream out 'mother of god make my heart immaculate!'... LOL

Although, they do not appreciate life of mundanity ,it seems they might actually grin and bear the fact that Katy is going to take over the Gothic and picturesque building . Maybe the reason  3 out of the 5 nuns left off their disapproval of Katy taking full possession of the house was because , Katy came and serenaded them with some gospel song , a church girl performance, and lord have mercy, she was entirely covered ... very conservative....LOL. Doesnt that act remind you of Sr, Mary Clarence trying to impress the nuns by singing "Nothing you can do will tear me away from my God", Well, lets hope the  5 nuns agree entirely and also lets hope she doesn;t get torn away from her God.

Are you lumbersexual? can you tell who lumbersexual person is? Read here and understand

It is also a known fact that the nuns and the archbishop are at dispute because the nuns feel hugely neglected by the diocese, little wonder they are reacting the way they do. These whole thing does sound like another scene from the 'Sister's Act'

On the other hand, if the sisters sell to the restaurateur, wouldn't all hell be let loose  by the daily atrocities that would definitely keep going on, night and day, in all the expensive and lavishly designed suites of the impressive building?

How to use 'many a' and 'a great deal of' in a sentence. How to pronounce 'impasse'

Good morning KIB  earthlings. Lets get down to brass tacks. Let's look at the use of verbs. Yesterday someone brought a statement to me and enquired if it were correct. 'many a fellow knows the truth' Many a driver ploughs this road daily' 'Many a teacher doesn't know how to  English'. All these sentences are correct. According to Oxford dictionary, Many a: ( formal: always used with a singular noun and a singular verb) means a large number of something. E.g many a young person has experimented with drugs.   So,  don't pluralise anything in the sentence because there is an 'A' already. 'Many a teachers like to flog their students ' is wrong. 'A great deal' How do you use 'a great deal'? A great deal takes a singular verb. E.g A great deal of bananas is planted in the north. 'A great deal' takes a singular verb.  Finally,  the pronunciation of impasse is /'ampa:s/ Not (impas) It's not Enem

Is it 'off head', 'off hand' 'off pat' or 'by heart'?

I love all the new students in my class. You guys are awesome by the way. 😀😀 Today. I want to give you a better expression for saying that 'you know something very well'. #Offhead? There is nothing like offhead. 'I know it off head' is wrong. #Offhand? What does offhand mean? It mean without previous thought or consideration. Just like saying 'on the spur of moment' , 'immediately', 'spontaneously'. So, do you just know something offhand? No...not at all. You can say something offhand, do anything offhand but then it seems weird to say ' I know the answer offhand'. It is normal 'to say the answer offhand'. Do you get my drift? People don't know anything spontaneously, rather, they  say what they already know, spontaneously. Now to the final expression #HaveSomethingOffPat? It means to know something or be able to do something perfectly; be perfect master of something . So rather than say, I know it offha
