A Review of Phyno's Okpeke ft Flavour and 2Baba.

Were nwayo mebe muya baby , were nwayo kwobe muya baby, jiri nwayo chibemuya baby.
LOL.

Guys I heard this and I died a thousand times. Flavour 'haff kills' me. Flavour egbu go m.

I duff my hat for this trio ,Flavour and  Phyno and 2Baba. The duo, Flavour and Phyno,  give the Igbo language a contemporary touch. New words formed by them becoming mainstream and widely spoken among people in Southeast of Nigeria and Lagos, the heart beat of music.

Well, Flavour's part is actually the most memorable for me because it is just too damn funny.

2Baba gave a heartfelt rendition of the song and he is just simply amazing and sounding all mature and lovely about the it.  He  destroyed the song in a really good way...LOL.

Phyno isn't done telling stories  about the ladies he meets with abundant rhymes here and there...splendid.

The beat has a SoukthAfrican Flavour to it. it is truely African I must say.
I just love love love Okpeke.
I do have one Okpeke I know back in Enugu...LOL

Just  take a listen.

Alright let's get  down to brass tacks.  Today,  we are looking at the idiom Rest assured What does it mean

Do you say 'talk more of' or 'talk less of'? Also, how to pronounce 'parliament'

My beautiful KIB students, today,  you will be happy learning the correct way to express yourselves. Nigerians have a way of changing typical English expressions to suit them. Someone still had to argue with me that the English expression 'Better the devil you know than the devil you don't "  is so wrong and does not make sense.  He opines that angel should be there.  He forgets that English can be quite illogical to our Nigerian minds. Lol. People say things like. 'He has not even proposed talk more of walking down the aisle with me' 'He does not have a car,  talk less a house" Well these two expressions or collocations are not common in British and American English. Here are the universal conventional English collocations for Nigerian English's  'Talk more of' and 'Talk less of',  #LetAlone 'Let alone' is  used to indicate that something is far less likely or suitable than something else already mentioned. E.g ...
