The commentators note that after just one mile, the two tires need to be replaced. To put the time into context, the fastest run up the 1.16-mile Goodwood course was 41.6 seconds set in a McLaren Formula 1 car. Grant averaged a speed of 30 mph, so not blistering, but not slow either.
